Taco Pizza

Easy Taco Pizza Recipe (Crescent Roll Crust!)

If you're craving a fun twist on Taco Tuesday or need a crowd-pleasing party dish, this Taco Pizza is the ultimate fusion of flavor and convenience. With a buttery crescent roll crust, seasoned ground beef, refried beans, melty cheese, and your favorite toppings—this recipe is fast, easy, and always a hit.

---

Ingredients You’ll Need

1 lb. ground beef – Lean works best to avoid excess grease.

1 envelope taco seasoning mix – Use your favorite brand or a homemade blend.

2 (8 oz.) cans Pillsbury crescent rolls – Forms the flaky, golden crust.

1 (16 oz.) can refried beans – Jalapeño-style adds a gentle kick, but any kind works.

2–3 cups shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese – For rich, gooey topping.

1/2 cup chopped tomatoes – Adds freshness and color.

1/4 cup sliced black olives – Optional, but adds great contrast.

4 green onions, chopped – For that fresh, zesty finish.

---

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Preheat & Prep

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Cook the Beef

In a skillet, brown 1 lb. ground beef over medium heat. Drain any excess grease. Add taco seasoning and water as directed on the package. Simmer until thickened.

3. Make the Crust

Unroll both cans of crescent rolls and press into a 11.5 x 16.5-inch jelly roll pan or cookie sheet. Seal the seams and press dough ½ inch up the sides to form a slight edge.

Bake for 11–13 minutes, or until lightly golden brown.

4. Add the Beans

While the crust bakes, microwave refried beans for about 1 minute to soften. Carefully spread the warm beans in a thin layer over the freshly baked crust.

5. Assemble & Bake Again

Top with the seasoned beef, sprinkle with cheese, then add tomatoes, black olives, and green onions.

Return to the oven for 3–6 more minutes, just until the cheese is melted.

6. Serve & Enjoy

Slice and serve warm. Makes 12 hearty servings or up to 48 appetizer squares—perfect for parties, game days, or casual dinners.

---

Pro Tips & Variations

Add a drizzle of sour cream or taco sauce before serving for an extra punch.

Use ground turkey or plant-based crumbles for a lighter or vegetarian version.

Want it spicy? Swap in pepper jack cheese or add diced jalapeños (but only if you're not sensitive to heat).
