Ingredients:
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine
1 cup granulated sugar
4 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup Hershey’s Chocolate Syrup
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Optional Frosting:
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
3 tablespoons Hershey’s Cocoa
1 tablespoon light corn syrup or honey
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup powdered sugar
2 to 4 tablespoons milk
Directions:
1. Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
2. Make the Batter:
In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
